Opportunities to take Accuplacer

UAA uses Accuplacer, a computerized placement test to assess your skills in English and Mathematics.



UAA uses Accuplacer, a computerized placement test to assess your skills in English and Mathematics.   Students are only permitted to register for English courses at the level indicated by the students Accuplacer, ACT or SAT Scores.  Students are permitted to register for Mathematics courses at the level indicated by the student's Accuplacer scores.  

Opportunities to take Accuplacer

Students will need to bring their high school ID or a government issued ID, such as a driver’s license.  Students will need to be prepared to use their ASD ID numbers.

Anchorage School District

Test proctors will be available between 7:00 am – 2:00 pm at the following location/dates:

  • March 22nd @ Service High School
  • March 27th @ South High School
  • March 28th @ East High School
  • March 29th @ West High School
  • March 30th @ Bartlett High School


UAA Testing Centers

Beginning in April UAA will be offering Accuplacer testing for new ASD AMCS students for fall 2017 for the following dates, times and locations:

  • Thursdays:  First & Third week of the month @ the University Center Testing from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm in room TBA
  • Thursdays:  Second & Fourth week of the month @ the Chugiak-Eagle River Campus from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm in room 226
