Boot Camp

AMCS will hold ‘Boot Camp’ during the first week of school, August 21-25.

Welcome to Alaska Middle College School (AMCS).  AMCS will hold ‘Boot Camp’ during the first week of school, August 21-25, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm (athletes will be allowed to leave earlier to ensure participation in scheduled sports). All AMCS students are expected to attend each day (for students scheduled in a home high school course, schools have been notified that AMCS students will not attend classes the first week). AMCS and UAA staff will be presenting important information to assist students in starting off the year successfully. Students will receive their complete high school and college course schedule as well as their textbooks during the week. Boot camp will be packed full of important information but will also be a fun time for students to get to know each other and the AMCS and UAA staff.
